PM Manmohan Singh's assurance to Mayawati about the airport at Greater Noida may be good news for Noida residents in more ways than one. The airport's viability being closely linked with the Delhi-Noida Metro link means that Delhi government's resistance to the Metro on account of initial running losses may end. CM Sheila Dikshit said: "We are looking at it very positively and the issue is likely to come up for discussion when I meet Mayawati. I have already asked for a meeting with her. Our earlier resistance was because the link required us as well as the Central government to make a heavy financial commitment
