Intex International Apparel Fabrics and Accessories Trade Fair India will be held between 28th to 30th Sep in India Expo centre & Mart situated at Greater Noida. The minister for Commerce and Industry, Kamal Nath, will inaugurate the fair. Famous Cloth Manufacturing Companies will take part in it. Intex is organized by Finesse Worldwide Expositions in association with The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). Confederation of Indian Textile industry is also supporting Intex. More than 100 Manufacturers from Japan, Thailand, Italy, Sri Lanka, China, Taiwan and many other countries are showcasing their products in this Trade Fair. Number of Cloth Manufacturers, Designers and Distributors will be provided a common stage to showcase their products.
Businessmen’s first choice – Greater Noida

There is a lot of pressure for the allotment of Industrial Space on Greater Noida Authority. Even after the challenge of cities like Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon, Greater Noida is becoming the first choice of business men. International Companies like Honda Siel and LG are already having their plot in Greater Noida. Leading Companies like Wipro and NIIT will be next who booked the space. Due to the more demand of business men Authority has rejected more than 2000 applications, but there are plans to give them another chance to apply.
On the other hand Authority took strict action against the business men who have not started their projects for so many years even after acquiring the space. According to one of the member of Authority these land will be allotted again. This made a hope for the businessmen who are really concerned for their business but not getting space. Authority has allotted approximately 1700 plots to businessmen. From this 70 plots are allotted in Ecotech-2, 80 plots are allotted in Ecotech-1, 1000 plots are allotted in Ecotech-3 and remaining are allotted in Ecotech-Extention. Some of the businessmen have taken the plots but have not started their projects. Authority has issued a notice against 365 businessmen like that. From which allotment for 221 businessmen has been canceled. Simultaneously Authority is deciding for rapid processing of land acquiring with District Administration. The rate of land as compare to cities like Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Gurgaon situated near to Delhi is cheaper but facilities are same. It is easy to transport goods from different part of country due to availability of Depot. Of Container Corporation of India and New Delhi – Hawrah main railway line.
The Transport hub of ambitious plan Baroda of Authority has also played an important role to attract the businessmen. There is India Exposition Mart of International level to promote handicraft exports which is the only platform for Handicraft exporters. At the time of its inauguration Prime Minister Manmohan Singh praised Greater Noida and he also expressed his interest about the construction of an international airport at Greater Noida. Deputy Chief Officer of Authority believes that there is lot of things there which are not present in NCR region. They believe that number of businessmen wants to allot land in Greater Noida. They says, Electricity problem is not there after the starting the Pali substation of Electricity. There will be improvement in the condition of Water and electricity facility in near future.
